Hippos clash in the sun

At dawn while I was waiting on the riverbank for the elephants to come across, two hippos approached right in the wake of the sun, opening their enormous jaws wide and each trying to push the other away. After some demonstrative clashes, they moved away in different directions, ignoring each other in the vastness of the river waters.
