Historic sailboat masts converge in the morning

Each year in Chestertown, Maryland, a group of historic sailing vessels converge to honor the down rigging of the Schooner Sultana, the town's flagship. This year I arrived far ahead of dawn to find a calm sea doubling the number of masts. In years before I was the only photographer there at dawn. Now there are about a dozen, all with the same intention.
