Time stands still somewhere in the middle of nowhere between mileposts 1 and 18 on old route 66 where we had our kicks on the way to camping towards Oatman Arizona where wild donkeys share the road with cars from bygone days when they were used in the mines here. Kind of eerie and happy scene at the same time. Heading to camping in Oatman,we rode our car on still driveable road pretty much in use today as it was years ago as you turn off the modern day highway looking for adventure.
