Hoi An "Now and Then" all in one

This is one of the photos in my Vietnam from North to South series. After a few years being more than 8000 miles from home, I “toured” back for summer vacations and enjoy all its travel. The enthusiasm of being a tourist in my own native country is boundless. Hoi An is an ancient town right outside of the dynamic Da Nang City. Hoi An is the perfect picture of an old and picturesque Southeast Asia. Any Hoi An visitor could recall those dusty window panes, those yellow painted walls, moss-covered roofs, and those narrowly sun-drenched street corners. Life changes rapidly. Nonetheless, Hoi AN still has that deliberate lifestyle. It’s a whole separated world, aloof from the mundane elements of the bustling scene of everyday life.
