Holi Mayhem! Strong red gulal powder is flung from the rooftop of the main temple in Barsana onto Holi revellers below. There is a lot of testosterone and machismo among the male Holi revellers, many of whom get 'high' on a narcotic. In this picture, the group being targetted with the gulal were exchanging verbal vulgarities and physical gestures with the men throwing the gulal and sticky red water mixture down.
