Hollow of Old Tree

(My poetry composed 11/4/2021 with interpretation) The hollow of old tree Made imagination run wild; While formations to see Filled heart beguiled. As polka dotted pockmarks Brought souls of pure love It pierced holes in wood bark With God's blessings above! Neath' an angel's wing The small gray like bird Wished songs that sing, Bequeath peace assured. A lady with warm parka And a dog by her side Was hidden charm I saw, With spirits to guide! It is fascinating for me to find formations in the bark of old trees. This Duchess apple tree is over 100 years old. I emphasized what I saw in my imagination by deepening color scale in photo shop to bring out more clearly the detail of images that were hidden and unclear before.
