HOMELESS HERO

When I was visiting Washington DC we walked many miles throughout the city. When walking we came across a homeless camp at a park within the city and a very nice man was distributing bibles and water to fellow homeless people as they walked by. He stopped to offer us water and asked for a donation. At this time he told us his story of how he chooses to live on the streets and help others by spreading the word of god and giving them guidance as far as distributions of food and clothes. We even witnessed him rounding up all the homeless when the truck came by to provide a dinner meal. What struck me was his faith and patriotism...a flag hang over his tent and he held a pic of him back when he was younger and wiser he said.
