Hon Yen corals

Low tide day at the coastline of Hon Yen is the time that you could witness the exposure of one of the most unique animals on earth-the shallow water corals,a kind of sessile animal that takes root on the ocean floor.The coral ecosystem is home for hundred of species,protect coastline from storms and erosion,provide jobs & source of food for local communities. Unfortunately,this coral ecosystem is severely threatened.The more they expose out of the water,the more they can be impacted & damaged.
