Honey collection campaign under the Satkhira range of the Sundarbans began on 1st April. A 3; month long honey campaign has been operating every year to start collection of honey in west zone of Sundarban. About 80,000 kilograms of honey and 20,000 kgs to 24,000 kgs of beeswax would be collected from the Sundarbans during the current season, forest Office sources said.
