We were doing an evening set of fireworks for grandma and grandpa, great grandma and ourselves on the family farm. A thing beautiful to watch, sky lantern releases have been an important part of our little family's rituals year to year. After a year of very hard changes, my children and I put our hands to this sky lantern with prayers of gratitude and hope. And watched it become a light like a star distant over the fields.
