Horse of Chios
This is one of the four horses of St. Mark outside of the basilica. It is believed that these horses first came from the island of Chios where they were displayed at the Hippodrome of Constantinople. In the distance is the clock tower where two animated figures ring the bell at every hour. The horse overlooks St. Mark's square below it.
