This image shows Narquel, a young Lusitano gelding. I photographed him in summer 2021 when I tried to work as much as I could to make up for all the shootings (and money!) I had to postpone during these many lockdowns we experienced this winter. I was overworked and unsatisfied, felt uncreative and just "wasn't feeling it". But when I saw Narquel and how he beautifully ran around, I knew exactly how to capture him - it felt as if all my creativity was back and completely replaced all the doubts I had before.
