While photographing an old white horse for an upcoming exhbition I walked up close to the herd of all retired horses at "De Paardenkamp" retirement home for horses. I went early in the morning to catch the best light on a very cold morning in April. I went there in preparation for an exhbition I was going to participate in. Looking for the best light conditions I knew I had to get there early. The herd created such a perfect sense of ease and relaxing I almost forgot to take the pictures I was going for.
