During my travels to England I've learned there is a distinct houseboat way of life along the country's rivers and canals. I've always loved exploring waterways, the freedom of being on the river and the history of how rivers have connected cities and nations. While on a day trip to Ely, I found myself drawn to the riverfront on a typically British foggy and drizzly day.
