This Oriental Darter was captured at a waterhole in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka in the morning hours. Not surprisingly he was not alone. The waterhole was surrounded by all varieties of water birds – egrets, Indian cormorants, Pond herons and Kingfishers, all fighting for a morning meal and an equally advantageous place on the branches.
