San Pedro de Hualla is located south of Huamanga in Ayacucho. During the 80s this district was one of the places where lived under the terror. The terrorist group Sendero Luminoso controlled daily life in this small town. But the arrival of the Armed Forces to counter the actions of Sendero Luminoso brought with it hundreds of missing that even today remain as such.
