Bees are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. They are such fascinating insects and play an essential ecological roll in the pollination of plants, including many human food crops. I have photographed bees gathering nectar and honey in a variety of locations, including public gardens, parks and even parking lots! I recently collected all of my best bee photos and put together a book: The Humble Bumble + Other Bees.
