Hummingbird Moth in our English lavender at our home in Castine, Maine. We thought a strange bee was in our garden along with the regular bees. After sending the photo to a number of friends we were informed that the “bee” was a Hummingbird moth. Based on our local Facebook page, no one from Castine had previously seen one in our town.
