Whilst travelling through countries by coach, I always have a camera ready for immediate use. Speed of travel and reflections from the glass of the coach are problematic. So usually a high ISO and fast speed are required. I use a polariser too, to try and eliminate reflections. Sometimes I get reasonable shots, like this one – I think. So, on this occasion in India, we had to slow down to almost stopping, and then jerking as the coach eased forward. The friendly people in the picture saw that I was taking pictures and immediately warmed at my attempts to photograph them on their home turf.
