Humpback Whale Breaching

My husband and I went on a whale watching tour out of Moss Landing, CA on October 26, 2019. This was a trip to celebrate our 4 year wedding Anniversary. We had never been whale watching before so we didn't know what to expect. I am a amateur photographer maybe a year under my belt with no trainings. It was hard to take pictures on the boat because it was so rocky. So I braced my self up against the railing and my husband stood behind me to help me be steady. I saw that the humpback whale was breaching and where it had just popped out seconds before, so I pointed my camera and took three pictures as fast as I could. I was ecstatic because I believed I had gotten the shot. I didn't stop to look I just kept snapping. Then the captain said it was time to head back in. So hubby and I sat down and then I began to look through my photos. I screamed I got the shot I got it look baby look. Best adventure in my life as of yet. Thank you for looking at my beautiful breaching humpback whale. Toni Domingo
