The Hungarians are extremely proud of their cultural heritage, and their animals are an important part of it. The famous Lazar Equestrian Park is located just 35 km from the Budapest city center. Apart from the delicious scones, strudels and olives, this countryside retreat served up real delights for the soul .Traditional huts, women in bamboo hats and the distinct smell of horse dung, entice the senses and entrap the beholders attention. The lavish display of pure bred Hungarian horses caught my attention and this little man, unconscious of the crowd, slept peacefully atop his trusty steed.
