Hungry kids, harried mother
Raising a brood of chicks is a challenging period for most birds, the Common Mynas being no exception. In fact, it is even more challenging for the parents because the chicks are forever hungry. They flutter their wings rather impatiently and follow their mother everywhere with their bills wide open, making loud demands. Being a lean season, worms are not easily available and it's a tough task for the myna parents to fulfill the never-ending demands of their hangry kids.
