Hurricane Ridge
The Olympic Peninsula in Washington State is a beautiful hiking destination in summer. At over 5,000 feet elevation it offers panoramic 360 degree views across the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountain Range. It has plenty of wildlife, including marmots, deer, chipmunks, pheasant, goats, to name a few, and it is home to King Bolete Mushrooms. A perfect day hike, not overcrowded.
