Hyena and Gazelle

On the last evening of our game drive, we spent time with these beautiful gazelles close to the Talek gate, enjoying the quietude of the Mara; the male took a cursory look at us and went about grazing. In a little while, we saw them tense. A hyena was passing by. She was a female, and on closer look, she seemed to be a mother with cubs. Her udder was full, and she was heading to her cubs. She was relaxed as well. They crossed paths and went their way, and in a little while, we drove back as well.
