Denmark is known for the concept of Hygee. Hygee is a feeling of warmth that you get when you’re around your loved ones, friends, boardgames, and good food. That feeling is transformed in ambiance of the room. I’m in the middle of doing my semester abroad in Copenhagen. I managed to get a job at a church turned community center. In this center, they use the concept of hygge to promote open socializing amongst Danes and people traveling through Copenhagen.
