I had family vacation in El Salvador Central America in Coatepeque Volcanic lake

Coatepeque is a volcanic lake situated about an hour from San Salvador, through created by a similar catastrophe volcanic eruption, around 5 to 6 thousand years ago. Coatepeque named Lago de coatepeque,it is on the eastern slope to Santa Ana volcano,beautiful, clean and sparkling blue crater-shaped lake from 6 km wide and 120 meters deeps and surrounded by steep green slopes rising up 250 to 500 meters the scenic road. The water has different color during the day,it is marvelous view, the crater is giving you glimpses of the broad fertile valleys on one side and the lake on the other side. The beauty of the lake has been attractive for tourism and real state, the lake has a legend that make the most interest for domestic and international tourism that help to improve the economy of the village, around the lake are private houses,hotels, restaurant with a big snake legend about the lake, all the restaurant offering gastronomic food from the area,and the taste is original from the country.
