During one of many lockdowns, the only thing that kept me sane, was going for a walk. Like real long walks. One of my favorite areas to clear my head is Huis ter Heide de Moer, a nature reserve pretty close to whatever I call home. Highland cattle is kept here to graze and maintain the fields. On cold winter days, with the fields covered in snow and barely any leaves on the rest of the vegetation, I sometimes feel sorry for them, but we visitors are not allowed to feed them in any way.
