I specialize in capturing images of inclusions in geological specimens. This is a single scene of a iron inclusion found in a quartz specimen. The image from the “Flaws” project that examines perceptions of beauty through flaws in geological world. I do not use computer generated objects, combine an image with unrelated images, or use lighting filters (colored, UV, polarizing etc.) in whole or part in this work.
