The sea was frozen at Hokkaido’s Notsuke Peninsula. Ice fishermen were out on the bay, fishing for small wakasag. A line with lures & bait is dropped down a hole made with an auger. Some fishermen had small tents for protection but, with his gear on a sled, this man just sat – and waited – looking very cold
