The "Ice Gladiators" of Vatnajökull, Iceland. Formed hundreds of years ago by water that is compressed, molded and encapsulated by a crystal-seed, frozen in time, grinding against rock, stones, and even magma. Ice formed by the earth’s atmospheric conditions now returning to the ocean of its origins. This photo shows the "Ice Gladiators" remarkable final hours - some Icebergs melting and molded by ocean waves turning into forms and shapes resembling mammals, faces, bird life and 'artistic forms" No human could create, bringing us unspeakable beauty and joy. Let us be "Wise" in protecting these areas of the Earth for future generations to enjoy so they can be left standing in "awe and wonder". ~ My tribute to the "Ice Gladiators" last few moments on "Diamond Beach", Iceland.
