Iconic Picnic Tables at White Sands national Park
This is one of the picnic areas at White Sands National Park, showing the iconic picnic tables designed in the first half of the 20th century by National Park Service architect Lyle E. Bennett, who was inspired by the work of Frank lloyd Wright. The tables, even today, do not look out of place, evoking a timelessness, both retro and futuristic simultneously.
