If Only You Knew street art painting on Clifton Avenue, Uptown Chicago

The entire back side of a mixed use residential and retail building became a canvas for Steven Teller who painted If You Only Knew in 2020 for the Clifton Avenue Street Art Gallery in Uptown Chicago. It watches over the entrance to a homeless transitional housing shelter for women and children. The painting is visible from the end of the road where it meets Wilson Avenue across from Truman College, but is hidden from Broadway where the front of the building is located.
