A red-bellied turtle making a run from my camera, New Jersey Pine Barrens. While on a spring day trip to Batsto Village in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, with my daughter, I spied this shy turtle sunning himself on the bank of Batsto Lake. I hurried to my camera out and get a good shot when he seemed to look back and say to me: "I'm outta here!"
