My mother recently passed from vascular dementia. She did not like getting her picture taken, but selfishly I insisted and now I have a photographic journal of this journey we took together. Even though most of her beautiful face is covered I see through her hands the amazing woman she was, her sense of humour, the love she had for me and the strength that I admired.
