Durga-puja, a rich cultural event & duly accredited under intangible-heritage by UNESCO, is the biggest festivals in India. In that five-day festival period, the last-fifth day is marked for the farewell of the Goddess Durga in which age across, people involve themselves in the final-procession for immersion. Married women, dressed in tradition-attires & vermilion-smeared faces, perform the the rituals which many a times bring tearful eyes with pensive-mood almost for everybody present since its the last day of the limitless enjoyment which would resurface again after a cycle of one year. In such an event, a woman is noticed with blank-look & teary-eyes for a while in between rituals, which depicts the deep pathos inside with emotional-attachment, for the Goddess(even in clay-idols) & her farewell.
