"In a Land Far Away" is a double exposure photograph of a marsh mallow that is waking up to daylight. The lightness and delicacy of the marsh mallow stands out against the darkness of the background. By using double exposure, I am showing you the same scene twice, slightly shifted to create a mysterious layering and transparency effect. The scene appears dream like due to the overlapping of the marsh mallow. This image is not created or altered on the computer. Besides minor color adjustments, this is how "In a Land Far Away" came out of my camera.
