I traveled with my two sons' Boy Scout troop to West Point for the 56th Annual West Point Camporee with ~6000 Boy Scouts from around the country. We arrived Friday amidst heavy rain and and set up camp in water-soaked campsites. Saturday was sunny and clear, however as we were preparing dinner Saturday night, I looked up to see this huge storm heading our way. I lined up my sons and their friend for a photo with the approaching storm in the background. The storm brought further torrents of rain that turned the whole site into deep, slippery mud. Thankfully, the majority of the muddy faces were smiling at the end of the weekend!
