17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Indian Summer
Zanoaga Gorge is a natural area situated deep into the heart of the Romanian Southern Carpathians. The photography was taken in the middle of October and there were very few signs of autumn, as the green of the surroundings was almost striking.
