Indigenous Water Purifier

Here two village boys are seen as collection water from marsh near to the village river. The river is almost dried up and thus supply of drinkable water has been stopped. These two boys are collecting the dirty water in their pots then they are using traditional village techniques for refining of water by hand made bamboo baskets. The dirt and algae stuck in the bamboo basket and clean water is then collected in a pot. This is the daily routine of the villagers here for collecting water home for consumption and other works. But the strong zeal of these villagers has moved me. Their convention ways may be categorized as outdated but still today those techniques are useful to them and they continue using them for their own betterment as they stand together and fight with all ods and derive what they need.
