The photo is of an infant baboon. I was visiting Shai Hills Nature Reserve in Greater Accra, Ghana, when a handful of baboons overran the dirt road we were on. The ranger encouraged us to get out of the vehicle to photograph and observe the baboons, at a respectful distance, of course. There were two infant baboons in the group playing with each other, but this one (photographed) was more interested in climbing the trees. The wonder and determined look on its face was so relatable and captivating.
