I had been driving through the California Hills on the way to Zumba and Malibu Beach. After a three-hour drive, I briefly walked around Zumba Beach. It was very quiet there. As I was driving home, along the Pacific Coast Highway, also known as Route 1. I decided to walk a couple of miles along the coast. Before going back to the car, I sat down on the jetties. It was an overcast day, but quite beautiful in its own way. The light was soft and diffuse.
