18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Inside Café Tortoni in Buenos Aires, Argentina
The last place in Buenos Aires my parents and I visited, when we had free time right before our flight home: Café Tortoni, which has been open since 1858. Glad we went at an odd hour; when we left there was a line to get in! This was the trip of a lifetime, and would become my last trip in a long time.
