It is very rare that you find a lighthouse that will let you into the lens room, Cape Blanco on the Oregon coast is one of those who will. At least once a year I drive up to this lighthouse just north of Port Orford to see the lighthouse. This is the first year the light has been lit when I ventured out to the windy tower above the sea.
