The Intag region is home to some of the last remaining cloud forests in Western Ecuador. On many rainy-season mornings, the moisture condenses as it hits the forests, and put on a show like no other. The Intag region has been my home since 1978. The landscape in the image is the view a few meters from my front door. Unfortunately, is within one of several dozen mining concessions in this part of the Andean country.
