Intercultural Saudi-Arabian Woman
After 9 -11 there was a noticeable shift in Los Angeles. I think fear, anger and retaliation were underlying emotions. There is a time I was concerned for my safety and had a grocery store clerk walk me to my car. I realized how important it was for people to feel familiar to culture. I am empathetic to women around the world who are not afforded the right to be educated or have freedom of speech. I created Saudi-Arabian Woman to have the opportunity to enlighten cultural ideologies and have art serve as a universal language setting forth a positive social impact.
