Intimate snapshot of daily life inside Lalibela

While exploring the distinctive rock-cut churches dating from the 12th and 13th centuries in Lalibela, this multigenerational family caught my eye. The colors, patterns, and diagonal composition of the rolled-up rugs fascinated me. It is a rare glimpse into the daily life of the Coptic Christians who still call Lalibela home.
