Inukshuk: Stretch your arms and hug me
This is a reminder of the ingenuity of the First Nation people in addressing transportation and communications challenges prior to the introduction of modern technology. A stone landmark built by Indigenous peoples of the North American Arctic region. A large granite monument stands six meters tall and weighs approximately 31,500 kilograms. The statue is called Inukshuk and created by Alvin Kanak.
