At the Veterinary Centre of Wildlife and Ecosystems (Centre Vétérinaire de la Faune Sauvage et des Écosystèmes) a man lists the bees collected in different places in the region. The purpose of this inventory is to assess the conservation status and extinction risk of these wild bees at the regional level. Today, all research programmes confirm that wild and domestic bee populations are in decline.
