13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
It is ok to be different.
This photo shows pine trees in straight lines with the sun setting, creating shadows on the ground. All of the trees stood straight except for the one on the right of the photo, hence the title, "it is okay to be different." Because that one unique tree demonstrates diversity in a forest of sameness.
