Its a Hard Knock Life
This is a sally lightfoot crab that I found in the Galapagos islands. The sally lightfoot crabs live in the tidal zone and are constantly subject to the pounding of the waves. The crabs in the Galapagos are some of the most colorful crabs I have ever seen! They made great subjects against the dark volcanic rock.
